COWBOY DINNER
21/03/2011

Steep Face!

Deep Stomper

Overpriced Tourist trap. Buffalo shank was pretty lip-smacking good though.

The view leaving the joint.

The Bison is on the flag but we've yet to see a real one..
DRIVING TIMES
16/03/2011

Pink Triangle Ranch for Dudes that play for the other team??

More Grand Tetons

Cheryl took this shot of herself with my camera, so technically its mine.

There was cussin to be heard for miles around.
SLEDZ
14/03/2011

Cheryl felt pretty nervous the first time she let her sled go. No insurance and just pushing your 10k machine off the edge of the hill will do that.

While the Girls took a break from the jump I went up and had a little session of my own.

Nice shadows

More jumping, more wrist pain

JACKSON LIFE
13/03/2011

Had a few amazing sunset drive homes lately. Grand Tetons, named by a sex crazed Frenchman back in the day.

We had dinner at Sudachi, a Sushi place Guch chefs at sometimes. Dusty setting up the Sake-bombs.

Guch and Dusty lighting it up.

Sake Bomb ala Guch.

Sled Senic's

THE SLAM
04/03/2011

This blog is all about the Slam. I've seen few in the last weeks. I dont end up with many crash shots though because as soon as I see a rider is out of control I stop shooting. Its just a reaction I've always had, I'm worried about the rider getting hurt. Pretty often now I shoot a second angle with a remote camera and these shots all come from that camera.
Here's Markus getting twisted up after misjudging his speed on this huge triple pillow line

Dylan Alito got very lucky here, falling full speed through this pillow section. 50cm to the right and it would have been head against rock.

Dylan didnt realize how close it was and came up smiling.

One of the sketchiest things I have ever seen. We built this road-gap over the Teton Pass road and Torgeir had drawn the short straw and had to hit it first. There was a miscommunication and he got the ok to drop in when there was a car coming. To make matters worse he had not taken enough speed and ended up slamming right into the wall and bouncing back into the path of the on-coming van.

Bryn Valika did a pretty good rag-doll after not landing a cliff-drop. This is the moment where she is wondering which way is up.

Jess Kimura caught her edge on this pole jam and it sent her flying superman style.
GROMS
03/03/2011

With Dylan Alito and Luke Mitrani in the crew we had plenty of comedy moments.

Luke dosent get to ride much powder with his hectic contest schedule. He came to Jackson straight off wining the last stop of the Dew Tour.

Kevin and Guch were a little worried about the ice breaking so Kevin ripped across pretty fast and hit the far bank fairly hard. The sled sucked it up though and he popped out unscathed.

Dylan and Luke shared a sled. The first day they got stuck about 10 times and by the end of the day could hardly move they were that tired.

Luke ripped a really nice pillow line right at the end of the day, we were all pretty stoked for him.
