MAGGIES WINNER

OK, so that might be a bit of an overstatement – we actually won our category, sports, but hell yeah! We’re stoked! Massive, massive thanks to everyone who took the time to get involved and to vote. Cheers for putting up with all those posts on the website, all the reminders on facebook, those annoying banners across the site and the constant reminders in the Friday Fix – you killed it people!
And I have to say, there’s something kindof special about seeing Col Mytton up there alongside Pixie Lott on FHM or Sienna Miller on GQ – though I know which one I’d rather take home with me ;-)
Seriously though, big big ups to Col and to Volcom staff photographer, Vernon Deck who bagged the winning shot. To see more of Vern’s stuff have a look here.

The picture was taken in Iceland during a Whitelines Magazine trip back in 2008.

Thanks Col for hitting the jump so many times and also thanks to Whitelines for submitting this shot to the competition"
