DARKBAR WORLD TOUR BESANCON, FRANCE 05/12/2008 Last Saturday, 29th November, we were in Besancon (North Eastern France) for the second Dark Bar stop in France at the Cousty pub. It’s COLD in France at the moment, very cold (less than 0 degrees), but it did not stop people from waiting outside for the opening of Cousty’s bar. Inside, the temperature was warmer, thanks to free beers and all other kinds of alcohol offered by Volcom. The theme was “crazy scientist”, inspired by the genius Emmet Brow, aka 'Doc'in Back to the Future. At 11h30, the weirdest band in the world, the Irradiates (apparently, they come from the moon and are on the earth on a mission…..) started their first song, and it was literally on fire in the bar!!!!! Goodies and Tee Shirts was flying everywhere in the bar! The Band stopped playing around 00h30am, and the Mighty Worm were in charge of the music and didn’t fail to play some classic rock songs! The party finished at 5am I think, but to be honest, I don’t remember the end….. A big thank to Gégé from the Cousty, the Mighty Worm for the music during all the night, Stéphanie, Slide Box Besançon and obviously Agathe and Mehdi. Be ready for the next stop!
