ANTI VALENTINE PARTY - UK 25/02/2009 Whilst all the other Volcom Anti Valentine parties took place on Friday 13th February, the UK party took place on actual Valentines Day! Saturday 14th! Volcom took over Moho Live on Tib Street in Manchester and the party kicked off at 9pm. People were told to turn up early if they wanted to take advantage of the goodies and booze tokens and at 9pm on the dot people starting rolling in. Trays of Red Velvet cupcakes and Broken Heart biscuits had be specially baked for the party by baking goddess Lynda Booth. Alongside the baking was loads of red and black candy, red fairy lights, Black Tennesse Tea and Red Royal Sapphire cocktails. This party was pretty much heaven for the girls. And what else comes hand and hand with a girls party on Valentines Day? Lots of boys who had come along to check it all out! After a couple of hours of sampling cocktails and cupcakes, by 11pm the dancefloor was full and it stayed that way until the lights came on at 3am. Music was supplied by two beautiful girls... Morgan Thomas and Poppy Smith. Mixing up everything from MGMT to Journey to New Order, they kept the place jumping all night long! The party was so good that the main camera from the night got lost so here are some pictures kindly donated! Whoops!
