Livia Lancelot won the British GP and David Herbreteau is european vice champion in the 85cc class
Last weekend was very busy for the Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki team, involved in no less than four categories at Matterley Basin during the 'MX Festival' organized on the English track on the occasion of the thirteenth round of the Motocross GP . The weekend brought brilliant results with a new victory of Livia Lancelot in the Women's World Championship, a second place for David Herbreteau in the 85ccm European Championship, two 'top eight' results for Dylan Ferrandis and Valentin Teillet in MX2 Grand Prix.
Ten different categories, four days of racing, and a brilliant success for the biggest sporting event ever held in Europe with the 65, 85, 125 and 250 categories alongside the World Championships, including women and veterans! French Champion Livia Lancelot returned to the World Cup, winning her second GP with a second place ranking and success in both races of the weekend. In the 85cc class Herbreteau David had two strong races, but a bad start in the first moto and went down in the second moto while he was working his way up from second last position behind the young Dutchman Davy Pootjes.
In the World GP MX2 Dylan Ferrandis missed the holeshot by a hair, fourth for the majority of the race, he lost three places in the last ten minutes when Nicholls, Van Horebeek and Tonus attacked. His second start was not as good, but Dylan didn't give up and came in seventh . Eighth in the championship now, he's only a few points away from the seventh position. A couple of mistakes in the qualifying put Valentin Teillet far down on the grid, but in each round he scored the eighth place in the wake of his teammate, which puts him in fourteenth place in the championship although he missed five GP this season due to injuries.
