Last week some Volcom skate rats met with the mission of visiting a few shops in Catalunya, Spain. We drove the motorhome from Bilbao with Alain Saavedra, Dani Lopez and David Sanchez. And the first stop was the shop SURF DEVILS in Lleida.
There they were waiting for us our ambassador Mr Txufo with Roberto Alemań and Javier Sarmiento. We bought some drinks for the kids while Javi and Roberto signed some posters for them. We gave away some goodies playing game of skate just in front of the shop. The kids had to re-do some flat tricks done by Saavedra and Dani Lopez…it was no easy…
Afterwards we had a funny session at the local skatepark.
The next day we stopped at TAC-TIC in Barcelona. We took out from the van out press hat machine and the show started. People didn´t believe the customised hat were for free!!. Dani, David, Robert and Javi made some designs for the crowd, and everyone grabbed an unique Volcom hat.
We woke up on Wednesday with no plan. It was rainnig so we decided to visit some friend at the Embassy. After we could not avoid to have a look on the recently unearthed oldest skatepark in Spain, Arenys de Munt. And the last stop was in Girona. We went to FREEBOARD shop to say hi and sign some posters and then we skated with all the local crew at the plaza close to the shop.
Some guys killed it and got some goodies. We were tired but not dead so we visited our friends at SURF PEOPLE before coming back to BCN.
Thanks to Miquel and all the Surf Devils staff, Paco, Rata and the crew from Tac-Tic, Ferran and Jordi from Freeboard, the crew from Surf People, Txufo, Mikel, Javier Sarmiento, Roberto Alemań, Dani Lopez, Alain Saavedra and David Sanchez.
