Once again we were back in Malmoe at the newly rebuilt Bryggeriet Skatepark for the Swedish edition of Wild in the parks
We opened up the skatepark at 10:00 and there were hordes of kids skating in just a few seconds …
The event went down in a great and relaxed atmosphere; as usual all registered riders got a free t-shirt and also enjoyed a free Barbecue and free refreshments provided all day
Last weekend was a total Wild In The Parks blast around Europe with 5 events simultaneously, celebrating back to school the Volcom way on this first weekend of September
The contest was first planned outdoor in Hitzkirch skatepark but the super bad weather forecasts made us move indoor to Olten at last minute
We had the pleasure to run another Volcom WITP skateboard contest in Innsbruck in the new WUB skatehall
We put up together a small street area and had 3 heats on the 3 different obstacles: a launch ramp, a Euro Gap Manny Pad and Stair set with a down box
The whole week we were excited about the forthcoming Wild In The Parks competition and weather was the biggest reason for that excitement
Volcom Stone’s WITP stopped in Stuttgart/ Pattonville last weekend in Germany. It’s one of the largest skateparks around Stuttgart with something for everyone to skate.
As always our WITP contest in Belgium is at Zumiez, in Wevelgem, the one and only indoor park, which is always convenient.
This year Volcoms’ famous Wild in the parks went down at the infamous and criticized D.I.Y Galatsi skatepark and had lots of participants…
The contest started late (as usual) but worked out perfect.
Out of the 6 heats only 10 made it from each catergory to the finals! From who 5 qualified for Finals in Sevilla, Spain.
On June 23rd, a sunny and hot, hot day, we ran the Portuguese Wild In The Parks 2012 at Maia’s Skate Park
Last Saturday June 2nd, the first stop of the European Wild In The Parks season went down in Leganés (Madrid), so in the morning, everyone was really pumped up including the Volcom Staff!
