Saturday, the 1st of September has seen the seventh annual Czech Volcom Wild In The Parks take place on Stvanice Island in Prague. The event went down in a great and relaxed atmosphere; as usual all registered riders got a free t-shirt and also enjoyed a free Barbecue and free refreshments provided all day.

The contest started at 10am with the registration, free for all skaters. Riders competed in three categories: Amateur riders up to 14 and over 15, and the third category to make the event more interesting was set up for pro or sponsored riders, it is called Open. The contest format had 2 rounds, qualifier and final.

At 1pm the contest started with the first qualifier heat for the 14 and under division. Promising rider Lukas Cina was ithe stand out, with some impressive skateboarding and took the first place with his accomplished riding. Then the 15 and over category started. Jakub Pav dominated this division already from the qualifier stage and kept riding solid in the finals and took the win. Check out the video to get some of the highlights!

During the final and the most impressive category for the spectators, the pros, Tomas Stejskal, one of the best Czech skaters did not hesitate. Tomas has managed to land his tricks perfectly and took the win in front of our best pool rider Martin Jurasek who took second and Pepa Tipanic who took third. In this last division category, organizers distributed symbolic 6000 CZK of prize money. Other winners took home many presents prepared by Volcom Stone. The WITP Czech winners have the opportunity to take part in the WITP finals in Sevilla, Spain. The top 5 riders from each category are automatically qualified for this event.
