This year we had 111 contestants at the annual Volcom Stones Wild in the Parks in Trondheim.
We opened up the skatepark at 10:00 and there were hordes of kids skating in just a few seconds.
Many of Norway`s best skateboarders were in Trikkestallen so we were sure to see some great skateboarding.

We kicked of the 14- category at 12:00, we had 3 heats, the youngest contestant of the day was 5 year old Julian. The lill monkeys were many and they shredded the park! After the 14- category we were ready for the 15+ category. The contestants were ripping the park apart! Marcus Grongstad did 3 flip lipslides down the a-frame rail and Andreas Fjaellingsdal did nosebluntslides like there was no tomorrow. Outside the BBQ was raging, everybody got free hot-dogs, burgers and drinks all day. The Open category was a sight for sore eyes, we had one heat containing the both Hermann Stene and Gard Hvaara. The crowd went insane during this heat where Gard and Hermann did bangers beyond anything we have ever seen in Trikkestallen.

The 14- finals were great to watch, Oskar Hjellegjerde did some super speedy bangers to on the a-frame and hip.
The kids are really getting good in Norway. The 15+ finals were also of the hook and the judges had a lot to write down on their score sheets.

After the finals we did a prize ceremony and a big product toss.
