Pat Burgener is a humble and soft spoken Swiss kid off the snow. On snow
however, he treats every park and pipe just as disrespectfully as the Lehman
Brothers handles your savings. When we first met, Pat didn't speak German at
all, and barely any English...
Then, half a year later, I met him again, and
he spoke the most fluent Swiss German possible...
Which leaves me thinking:
Pat must be just as smart as he is talented on a snowboard, not just
learning but perfecting languages at the same rate he learns new snowboard
tricks...
These days, having just turned 16, and already with an accolade of
international recognition under his belt, his progression is proportional
with his growing strength...
IN other words, you've only seen the beginning
of Pat...
